Patricia has over l9 year’s experience as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner, and Life Coach, and is the founder and a tutor of the Kent College of Hypnotherapy established since 1999. She also developed the training in The Psychology of Selves ©. Pat has her own private practice specialising in phobias, anxiety and motivation and stress management and confidence, sports and working with children with anxiety. She achieved a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy with distinction from the British Medical Hypnotherapy Examinations Board. Pat has also been accredited by Professor Mathew when in honorary contract with the Department of Psychosomatic and Behavioural Sciences at Kingswood Mental Health Centre, Maidstone. She also works with Applied Kinesiology, meridian tapping and management training.
Susan Ricketts: Bsc (Hons) degree in Clinical Hypnosis, Diploma of Higher Education Clinical Hypnosis, Adv Dip Clinical Hypnosis. GQHP, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, QTLS award (awarded by the Institute for Learning) and Dip Life Coaching.
Susan completed her degree in Clinical Hypnosis atSt Mary’s University London and the DTLLS teaching qualification at Canterbury Christ Church University.
Susan runs a private practice working with adults and children suffering with anxiety disorders including OCD, phobias, general anxiety disorder, panic attacks, agoraphobia, and health anxiety, depression and stress related disorders. Susan teaches for The Kent College of Hypnotherapy, The Kent College of Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and developed the CBT components of the Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy diploma course.

How to utilise a client’s/patient’s/learner’s own inner resources to make positive changes. How to enhance rapport with your client/patient/learner by being able to speak (see, hear, feel) the same language. Gain an understanding as to why you sometimes can’t seem to shift that client/patient/learner on towards symptom relief. Learn a variety of tools that can help you empower your client’s/patient’s/learner’s to make positive changes. Provide quick relief from conditions such as anxiety, anger and stress. Learn how to instantly trigger confidence and self esteem. You will also be able to use the techniques and strategies from this dynamic input day on yourself, allowing you to make positive powerful changes.
By the end of the session you will be able to:
- Describe what NLP is
- Outline what a modality is
- Explain what representational systems are
- Explain how changing language based on your clients lead representational system enhances communication and understanding
- Recognise the importance of mirroring, pacing and leading within the concept of rapport building
- Outline what a sub modality is
- Demonstrate the ‘roll-out’ technique and identify when you might use it
- Demonstrate a selection of NLP techniques (e.g. anchoring) and identify their beneficial uses: e.g. for self esteem, anxiety, depression etc.
