Introduction to Mindfulness

Workshop by Tanya Wright

Tanya Wright is an accredited counsellor and Mindfulness trainer.  She has taught Mindfulness for the last 5 years to over 800 people.  Tanya is the in-house Mindfulness trainer for AXA-PPP Healthcare and works extensively with Mind charity and the corporate legal sector.

Training

Mindfulness offers a simple, highly effective way to slow down and break the cycle of stress, anxiety, tiredness, anger and other overwhelming feelings.

This experiential day workshop explains the core principles of Mindfulness and how living in the moment can lead you to a calmer more grounded way of living.  You will learn how to incorporate simple practices in to your day to day life, helping you to re-gain control and break old, unhelpful patterns of behaviour.

Mindfulness encourages a genuine route to wellbeing no matter how busy your life is, as well as promoting a better way to meet difficult, stressful situations.

Tanya will use case studies from counsellors using mindfulness and the day will include how to teach mindfulness skills to clients.
